15th of May was the day set for superheroes to descend upon Metro Radio and join forces to rally the North East into raising money for disadvantaged children across the region…

They were joined by Saturday Night Takeaway’s Geordie duo Ant and Dec, who took over the Breakfast show, joining Steve to set up his challenges for the day. Jason Manford and Ross Noble joined in the fun with mid-morning presenter Brian Moore to also show their support for the campaign.
