The snow hammered the north recently, which meant two things –
- Chance to crack your skull on the pavement
- Chance to grab some pictures
I didn’t venture about much since the thought of not trashing the car (I had a situation on a hill!) was top priority. While wandering about from place to place I did stop to take a few.
The up close ones were taken with the 35mm lens which gave the plants and snow crisp detail. The out and about ones were taken with my Tamron 18-270mm. Since I’m still getting used to using the SB-700 some pictures of the snow were lit up really close which looked a bit odd. I love how weirdly well (or badly) it worked on the view of the Swing Bridge.
My next investment might be a monopod, so it’s time to start checking the reviews. Any pointers?
